Privacy
The short version
This site does not set cookies, does not run analytics, does not embed third-party trackers, and has no sign-up form. Reading it tells us nothing about you.
What we collect
Nothing automatically. There are no cookies, no advertising pixels, no analytics scripts, and no social embeds on this site.
What you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it.
Newsletter
There is no newsletter yet. If one is added, this page will be updated first, and subscribing will require an explicit opt-in with this privacy policy linked directly beside the sign-up field. Nothing will be added to a list without that consent.
Server logs
Like most web servers, the server that hosts this site may record standard request information such as IP address, timestamp and requested page. This is used only to keep the site running and to diagnose faults. It is not used to build profiles and is not shared with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be deleted. If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing.
Third-party links
Essays may link to other websites. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. This site currently contains no affiliate links; no link on this site earns us a commission.
